Join the Team at The Astrochemistry Report!

The Astrochemistry Report is expanding, and we’re looking for individuals to help share astrochemistry discoveries with the world! As an online resource dedicated to educating the public on the latest findings in astrochemistry, we provide accessible and engaging content for a broad audience. If you’re passionate about science communication, writing, editing, or outreach, this is a great opportunity to get involved.

We are forming a committee and are seeking dedicated volunteers for the following roles:

Editors (3) – Edit submissions, ensure alignment with The Astrochemistry Report's style, and provide constructive feedback to contributors.

Managing Editor (1) – Oversee the editorial process, obtain submissions, assign editors, track article progress, follow up with contributors, and coordinate team meetings.

Content Recruiter (2-3) – Identify and reach out to potential contributors, encouraging researchers and science communicators to submit articles.

Web Manager (1-2) – Format and publish articles, manage website, and coordinate email campaigns to engage our audience.

Social Media Coordinator (1) – Manage The Astrochemistry Report's presence on X, Instagram, and LinkedIn, sharing new articles, engaging with followers, and growing our audience.

Service Term: 12-24 months, with the option to renew

Future Vision: As The Astrochemistry Report grows, we plan to explore ways to generate revenue, opening the door for future paid positions. Those who help shape this initiative now will be part of something truly meaningful—and may have the chance to grow with it.
